Transforming Data into Actionable Insights for Integrated Neighbourhoods

At co‑urban, we are creating a collaborative platform that brings together researchers and practicing architects and planners. Our aim is to spark new partnerships and exchange ideas that lead to more socially, economically, and environmentally resilient neighbourhoods.
Our international network brings together experienced researchers and practitioners in architecture, urbanism, housing, and sociology from across the world. The network was initiated and is coordinated by Dr Florian Wiedmann in Nottingham, UK.
Our research approach is grounded in theories of space production and integrates both quantitative and qualitative methods. We actively engage with ongoing digitalisation and explore emerging opportunities to develop and apply advanced tools for data collection and evaluation.

Our approach in learning design in collaboration with places.

Our approach in postgraduate studies (sustainable urban design).

Our collaborations in design summer schools worldwide.

Our role in the East Midlands and neighbourhood formation.
